In the latest blog post, we reconnect with Ms. Ishita, a corporate professional with a flair for food blogging.
On a delightful summer Sunday, the mood was set for some laid-back family time. Opting for comfort and joy, I chose a beautiful mint green Kurta adorned with beautiful chikan work from Beetroot for a movie date with my mother.
I personally love wearing silk chikan kurtas because of its softness and subtle charm. Its incredible versatility is what makes it one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. You can elevate or tone down your look effortlessly by incorporating oxidized jewellery to suit the occasion. Additionally, I occasionally pair it with a regular set of jeans, and the result is equally fantastic.
Anticipating an eventful day, we secured our bookings for the highly acclaimed film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.' The movie lived up to its reputation, with captivating performances from the cast that left us thoroughly impressed. It truly justified all the hype surrounding it.
Post the theatrics, our hunger pangs kicked in. We opted for Flying Saucer because of the buzz surrounding the place and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the place exceeded our expectations. From its rooftop ambience to the curated music selection, this spot is an ideal setting to savor a delightful meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend trying their tandoori soya chaap, Chinatown crispies, and Mezze Platter. While the portion sizes are reasonable for the prices, the emphasis on quality over quantity ensures that every bite leaves you yearning for more.
The decision to savour a delicious lunch at the Flying Saucer turned out to be the perfect choice, adding an extra layer of delight to our already wonderful day.
